The Upcycling Convention (UpCon) is a platform to connect the makers of the upcycling movement with customers, companies, and policymakers, as well as with educational institutions, teachers, and students.
We want to make upcycling more relevant for society as a whole! UpCon aims to promote sustainable lifestyles and economic practices based on reuse, repair, upcycling, and the sharing economy!

With this year’s conference and keynote speakers we focus on the role and importance of reuse centers as community labs for sustainability, creativity, and grassroots innovation.
The lectures will be spoken in English or German - each lecture is followed by round of discussion with live multi-lingual (EN, IT, DE) translations.
Italian designer Andrea de Chirico shares insights into his creative projects where collaboration with local manufacturers and the reuse of materials play a key role.
